Welcome to Heritage, and thank you for your interest in our homeschool tutorial! We’re honored to have the chance to serve you. As you consider your educational options for the coming year, we pray that God will guide you clearly and provide the best possible school community for your family.

 

Our homeschool tutorial is a unique model that allows students to participate in a lively, hands-on classroom environment on Mondays and Wednesdays, while enjoying the many rich benefits of home education on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Unlike traditional five-day schools and homeschool co-ops, the tutorial model relies on a close partnership between dedicated homeschooling parents and professional educators. In order to maximize this relationship, we look for families who can commit to providing consistent, focused home instruction for their students. This typically means having at least one parent who is present in the home and dedicated to actively teaching and overseeing his or her students on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Think of it as a 60/40 partnership, with parents investing 60% of the total “capital” (teaching time) required to provide a home-based education, while we provide the other 40% (including lesson plans and accountability).
